ZENIT GmbH, founded in 1984, is a public-private partnership with around 60 employees and the agency for innovation and European affairs of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia.

As a competent partner in a number of European support networks, helping local organisations enter markets abroad and assisting their foreign counterparts in NRW is our business. We are your best port of call for all transnational activities. ZENIT is owned by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, a consortium of banks and an association comprising some 190 enterprises. On behalf of EU, national and regional bodies, we provide services for the benefit of companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as universities and research institutions. Our clients come from NRW, throughout Germany and abroad.
About KI:NRW
The competence platform KI.NRW is the central point of contact for artificial intelligence in North Rhine-Westphalia. The platform is located at the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems IAIS in Sankt Augustin, at the interface between top-level research and the working world. KI.NRW aims to support the transfer of AI applications to industry - especially to small and medium-sized enterprises – in order to establish NRW as a leading region for professional qualification in this field, to make AI research in NRW visible and practice-oriented, and to shape the social dialogue around a trustworthy, people-centered AI. As a state initiative, KI.NRW also forms the umbrella for AI lighthouse projects in NRW and ensures their visibility beyond state borders.
KI.NRW also offers the right environment to find competent partners for the development of an AI strategy, the implementation of AI projects or the qualification of personnel via various networking events and open consultation hours.
